最有效的防锈方法是热浸镀锌。把护栏浸入440℃到470℃的锌液中，表面生成锌铁合金层和纯锌层，隔绝铁与氧接触，防锈期可达20到50年。有些厂家为省成本，用冷镀锌或刷防锈漆代替，短期看不出差别，一两年后就见分晓。采购时要问清楚是不是热浸镀锌，锌层厚度多少。
