户外灰尘飞扬，日积月累会在护栏表面形成一层浮尘，这不仅影响色泽，灰尘中的酸性物质还可能破坏保护膜。建议定期用柔软的纯棉针织布擦拭护栏表面，对于浮雕纹饰或凹陷处的灰尘，可以用细软的羊毛刷清理。特别提醒，如果遇到大雾或雨天，雨停后应及时用干棉布把护栏上的水珠擦干。因为我国大部分地区存在酸雨现象，雨水残留会加速漆面腐蚀，及时擦干是成本最低的防锈手段。

This not only affects the color, but the acidic substances in the dust may also damage the protective film. It is recommended to regularly wipe the surface of the guardrail with a soft pure cotton knitted cloth. For dust on relief patterns or depressions, a fine and soft wool brush can be used to clean them. Special reminder: If encountering heavy fog or rainy weather, the water droplets on the guardrail should be wiped dry with a dry cotton cloth in a timely manner after the rain stops. Due to acid rain in most parts of our country, residual rainwater can accelerate paint corrosion. Timely drying is the lowest cost rust prevention method.

2. 远离酸碱，避免化学腐蚀

酸碱物质是铁艺护栏的“头号杀手”。如果在日常生活中，护栏不慎沾上了酸（如硫酸、食醋）或碱（如肥皂水、苏打水、装修用的涂料稀释剂等），应立即用清水把污处冲洗干净，再用干布擦干。在庭院除草或清洁时，也要注意避免杀虫剂、强酸强碱清洁剂直接喷溅到护栏上。

If the guardrail accidentally comes into contact with acid (such as sulfuric acid, vinegar) or alkali (such as soapy water, soda water, paint thinner for decoration, etc.) in daily life, it should be immediately rinsed clean with water and wiped dry with a dry cloth. 3. 科学除锈，切勿暴力打磨

如果护栏局部出现了较小的锈迹，千万不要自作主张用砂纸暴力打磨，这样会破坏周边完好的漆面，导致生锈面积扩大。正确的做法是：用棉纱蘸取少许机油涂在锈迹处，稍候片刻，让机油渗透软化锈层，再用布反复揩擦即可消除。如果锈迹已经扩大变重，或者漆面出现大面积脱落，建议请专业的技术人员来进行除锈和重新喷漆修复。

The correct approach is to dip cotton yarn in a small amount of engine oil and apply it to the rust area. If the rust has expanded and become heavier, or if there is a large area of peeling off on the paint surface, it is recommended to hire professional technicians to carry out rust removal and repainting repair.

4. 定期检查，加固连接点

铁艺护栏常年经受风吹日晒，建议每隔半年或一年，对护栏进行一次全面“体检”。重点检查焊接点是否有开裂迹象，固定螺丝或膨胀螺栓是否松动。特别是在台风或暴雨多发季节过后，及时加固松动的部件，能有效消除安全隐患，确保护栏的结构始终稳固如初。只要用心呵护，铁艺护栏完全可以做到二十年光亮如新。
